Scientific Interest
I am fascinated by molecular machines, especially those responsible for the synthesis and targeting of proteins (i.e. the ribosome, and the signal recognition particle). In particular, my interests lie in the fundamentals: how these machines function, how they’ve evolved, and how they’re regulated.
